101 East River Drive is a 177,710 RSF seven-story Class A office tower located along the Connecticut River in East Hartford, CT. Together with its sister building, 99 East River Drive, which is attached by a three-story parking structure, it makes up a 333,473 RSF office complex. The complex has ample parking provided by the garage as well as several on-site and off-site surface parking lots. This property was acquired by The Fremont Group in 1999. After the State of Connecticut Department of Information Technology vacated the entire building in 2015, The Fremont Group saw an opportunity to update and modernize the building. Improvements included a brand new cafeteria, new lobby, a state-of-the-art fitness center as well as a new roof, new HVAC equipment, new elevators and repaving of the parking lots. The first and second floors are currently leased to CME Associates, Inc. and RWS Life Sciences, Inc.
